Without inner change, there can be no outer change. Without collective change, no change matters.”

Spring Series: Wounded Healers of Sexual Trauma – Women’s Group
Location: Santa Cruz, CA
“Wounded Healer” was a term coined by Carl Jung but is an age-old concept that refers to those who transform their experiences of pain and trauma into capacity to support others in their healing and transformation. Because societies, sadly, are often set up to keep the oppressed and victimized in roles of oppression and victimization, the importance of cultivating ways for the wounded to step into power is critical!
This group is geared specifically towards those who have been engaged deeply in their own healing journey and are interested in exploring ways they can support and offer tools to, and WITH, others on an adjacent path.
In these series I focus on interweaving mental and emotional support with psycho-educational training – to support you in continuing to do your own embodied healing, while also directly learning and practicing skills to tap into your capacity to facilitate or co-facilitate (with another or others) in whatever way feels appropriate for you. This could mean continuing on with the group members you’ll be with in this series , or potentially organizing, leading, and/or participating in another “peer-run” group or healing mission of your choosing.
Now, more than ever, we need to expand our options for healing, empowerment, connection and resilience. I’m excited to be part of this journey with you!
